Executive Board

Corinthian Bethel, President

I’m Corinthian Bethel a rising junior at EIU, a Family and Consumer Sciences major with a concentration in Family Services. This is my second year serving on the Executive Board. I’ve served on the NAACP Executive Board for the past year as treasurer, so the transition is completely new position is both exciting and nerve wrecking. What I look forward to most is continuing the success of NAACP EIU- Chapter. I look forward to working with the community, EIU students, staff, faculty, and university administration.

My Motto is:

“If you can control a man’s thinking you don’t have to worry about his actions”

My name is Moniesha Curry; I am a senior Psychology major with a minor in Family and Consumer Sciences-Family Services. This is my first year serving on the executive board, however I served with the service committee and that was a joyous time. What I look forward to in the upcoming year as treasurer is planning more fundraiser events and working with the rest of the executive board to make this a fun and exciting school year for other students to want

My Motto is:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
